21 - 27 March
We invite you to take part in the global celebration of adolescent health during International Adolescent Health Week, to be observed 21-27 March 2021. International Adolescent Health Week started as Teen Health Week in the US in 2016. Since then, it has grown into an annual, international week of dynamic participatory events to inspire adolescents and their communities to advocate for a successful transition into adulthood.
You can participate in International Adolescent Health Week in big and small ways:
Wear lime green.
Have a conversation about adoloescent health issues with youths, parents, and people who care for adolescents.
Share educational social media posts about adolescent health issues.
Engage local government by highlighting issues and advocating for policies that promote youth health and well-being.
Plan an event for youths or youth groups to celebrate adolescent health and well-being.
Illuminate community buildings and bridges lime green.
