Cooma Chamber of Commerce president Kathy Kelly is encouraging all Cooma businesses to register for the first Cooma Connect event which is being held on Monday 26 February at The Altair Motel, 5.30pm. This new initiative of the Chamber of Commerce is being supported by Snowy Hydro, Snowy Monaro Regional Council, Regional Development Australia Southern Inland and AusIndustry.
Cooma Connect offers an opportunity for local businesses to come together regularly to form new partnerships or relationships, discuss new ideas or challenges and find out what is going on in the local business community. Initially it is planned to meet the last Monday of each month, and it will involve a number of 'pitches' from local businesses, who will talk about their business and what they offer to the community. Following this, the fun part begins – a chance to relax, network and catch up with like-minded businesses.
This event is for all Cooma businesses, to register for the event go to https://coomaconnect.eventbrite.com.au Registration is to assist with catering, however you are welcome to just turn up on the evening. For further information contact Karen McGufficke on 0417 496708.
