Cooma Chamber President Kathy Kelly is pleased to announce the Cooma Chamber of Commerce are hosting two separate information seminars on the rolling out of the NBN in Cooma. As previously mentioned the NBN will be available to businesses in Cooma from the beginning of December. The Chamber has arranged for Jonathon James a representative from the NBN to present to members information on the following topics; an overview of the NBN, why do businesses need the NBN and the benefits, technology around the NBN, how your business connects to the NBN and the planning of the installation. Retailers will also be on hand to discuss plans and options for your business.
Both sessions are being held on Tuesday 28 November, with the first session focusing on the industrial businesses based in Polo Flat. We encourage Polo Flat business owners and managers to attend this hour long session starting at 2pm, at the Polo Flat Truck Stop.
A second session will be held prior to the Chamber’s Annual General Meeting and Christmas Drinks. Once again members are encouraged to attend the NBN information session, commencing at 5pm in the Coombah Lounge at the Cooma Ex Services Club. Members are then welcome to attend the Annual General
Meeting at 6pm, followed by Christmas Drinks.
