Successful Networking Breakfast for Cooma Chamber of Commerce

March 20, 2017

Over twenty Cooma Chamber of Commerce members were fortunate to have Naomi Nemec, Crime Prevention Officer for the NSW Police speak at the members networking breakfast last Thursday morning at The Lott. Naomi gave some insights into local issues and also to what rights businesses/retailers have in regard to areas such as suspected shoplifting and security within their businesses. The presentation was very interactive with members having the opportunity to ask relevant questions relating to first hand experiences.

Chamber President Kathy Kelly also informed those present at the meeting of the upcoming questionnaire they will be receiving which will enable businesses to contribute ideas towards the future vision for Cooma and in particular the “Winter Starts Here” campaign. These questionnaires will need to be returned by the end of March to enable the results to be showcased at the next workshop that is to be held on Tuesday 4 April.
